We need at least 48 hrs notice for dog walks and at least 7 days notice for pet sitting/house sitting visits. This is to ensure that a Pet Nanny team member can furrrrfil your request.

This is completely up to you! Some of my clients like to give me a spare key or keep one in a safe place on the property for me so I can get in for pet sitting or dog walking. Sometimes dogs are kept outside with a lead available so I don’t need to get into your house at all. We can discuss this when you get in touch.
In the rare case that your pet gets sick or injured while in my charge, I’ll act quickly to ensure they receive the care they need. This may involve giving you a call or making a quick trip to the vet. When you book a Pet Nanny job, you’ll set up a profile through the booking system. The online portal lets you add your vet details and emergency contacts which means I’ll have this information immediately on-hand in case of an emergency.

If this is your first time booking with The Pet Nanny, give me a call, or fill in the form on my contact page and I can call you back at a convenient time. We can then chat about your needs and set up a meet and greet. From there, I’ll set you up as a client and give you access to our online booking portal so you can make bookings yourself whenever you want!

DOG WALKING

Generally I will walk your pooch around your local neighbourhood, ensuring it’s an environment they’re familiar with. Perhaps you have a favourite park or walking track you’d like me to take them to. I’ll chat with you about where you want them walked, and can always provide a suggestion of my own
No, I don’t do group walks as I believe I should give your dog my full attention. Personalised one-on-one walks are a part of the unique service The Pet Nanny offers, and I really find that dogs benefit from this. Of course, if you have more than one dog I’ll walk them together
Yes, my preference is to keep dogs on-leash at all times during the walk. This is the best way for me to keep them safe and ensure they’re close to hand if any dangers arise (like other cranky dogs at the park!). It also helps me ensure we keep to our allotted timeframe for the walk. If you prefer an off-leash adventure for your dog, we can definitely discuss this.

The Pet Nanny offers different prices for different packages. Call or email for a quote

I’m proud to offer some of the most competitive pricing in the industry, and I always look after my regular clients. This is why I offer a $5 discount for clients that book 3 or more walks per week in one booking.

PET MINDING

A routine cat visit generally involves feeding, freshening their water, emptying the litter tray, cleaning up the area and plenty of pats and cuddles (if your cat is into that kind of thing!). I’ll typically be with your cat for about half an hour.
Cat visits can be once or twice daily as required. (If you need a second daily visit it will be discounted.)
So many! I’ve looked after cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice, fish, birds, chickens, bearded dragons and even pet snakes.
There’s a set rate for a visit with one pet ($27) and a rate for multiple pets ($35).
I sure do! I can stay overnight at your house to keep your pet company and maintain your property’s safety while you’re away. I can also perform house sitting duties like watering plants, collecting mail and more. Check out my Services page for more information on house sitting.
